1946 Born in Staffordshire.
1965-69 Birmingham College of Art.
1969-72 Royal College of Art.
1973-2000 Head of Sculpture at University of Wales Institute, Cardiff.
2000+ Visiting lecturer at various colleges in Britain, USA and India.

Awards and Commissions.

1971 Prize for Young Contempories, Art Council of Great Britain.
1971 Royal College of Art Travelling Scholarship.
1973 Sainsbury Award.
1975 Arts Council of Great Britain Bursary.
1981 Major purchase Award, Arts Council of Great Britain.
1981 'Archform' Sculpture at Newport Station, commissioned by British Rail.
1986 Artist in Residence. The Bishop's Palace, St. David's.
1991 Welsh Arts Council Bursary to Research Schools Art and Architecture.
1992 Commission for 'Mother & Child' woodcarving
at Warren Church, Pembrokeshire.
1992 Commission by 'Optrex' to make a 16ft Eye for Garden Festival
of Wales at Ebbw Vale.
1993 Commission by Cardiff Bay Arts Trust to make 'Celtic Ring'.
(16 ft. diameter open-ended bronze ring) installed in Cardiff Bay
to mark the start of the Taff Trail.
1993 Commission by Capital Waterside to make bronze signage relief.
1993 Newport Borough Council purchased 'The Eye' at Ebbw Vale.
1995 Commissioned by Cardiff Bay Development Corporation to make more
'signage' sculpture for the Taff Trail.
2007 Short-listed for 'Gateway to Wales' Monmouth.
2008 Commission for Richard Chamberlin, Architect.

Deputy Director of the Inter Arc Project. University of Wales.
Represented the University at the original meeting in Nantes and attended all subsequent meetings in Paris, Nantes and Vigo.
