Bomb Womb

In my studio I begin hundreds of potential sculptures and allow the space for each one to develop. Ultimately, only a few are completed. In this reductive process each work focuses on a few issues - rarely are they produced in series and rarely are they similar in content or material.
In 'Bomb Womb' the simple action of cutting a piece of wood in half laterally provided a shape that suggested a bomb or a womb, one being destructive, the other creative.
